The Edmonton Police Service Community Policing Bureau follows a district team-policing model. This allows officers to target community crime, police where they are needed most, and deliver quick results.
The city is divided into six divisions each with four districts.
Community Liaison Constables and Sergeants
Each district of the city has a Community Sergeant and Community Liaison Constable (CLC) dedicated to work alongside the community and partners to identify and prioritize crime and disorder and find lasting solutions.
These Sergeant and CLC teams are able to focus on the priorities in their communities and partner with community groups to create sustainable change.
