Southeast Division - District E4

The area known as District E4 is comprised of neighbourhoods in the western part of Mill Woods and south to the city limits. It also includes the industrial and commercial centres east of Gateway Boulevard.

There are 26 officers dedicated to work full-time in the area. This includes the two School Resource Officers who work at J. Percy Page and Holy Trinity high schools. Additional officers from specialized units also come into the area to work at every opportunity. Examples of specialized units would be Canine Unit, Flight Operations (Air-2), Forensics, and Traffic. City bylaw officers and the provincial Sheriffs also work with the EPS in the area.

Community Initiatives

In addition to the above police resources, there are several District E4 initiatives being used to solve issues within the E4 area. The Millwood’s Community Patrol is one such initiative, which is a partnership between the public and the EPS.

The community liaison representatives within District E4 are Sergeant DUVANDER and Constable PACKER. Sergeant DUVANDER and Constable PACKER are dedicated to working in partnership with members of the community, to resolve issues within the district.
