A local police record check for the purpose of a pardon are not the same as a Police Information Check. The form for the purpose of a pardon is located in the pardon application booklet. It is required by the National Parole Board in order to complete your pardon application. The fee is $30.00
There is a limit of six months on a local police record check for the purpose of a pardon from the date that the Edmonton Police Service completes the form. This is a regulation set by the National Parole Board. If your check has expired you will have to re-submit and pay the fee again.
