Rita POWDER

On June 19, 1977, the body of a female was located on the north bank of the North Saskatchewan River, east of the low level bridge.

An autopsy was conducted and her identity was found to be Rita POWDER.  

Rita was the victim of a violent sexual assault and suffered numerous stab wounds.  She died of blunt force trauma to the head and stab wounds.
