The Kiwanis Club of Edmonton - Oil Capital is seeking nominations for the 2011 Kiwanis ‘TOP COP’ Award.
Is there an active-duty Edmonton Police Service officer who volunteers in your neighbourhood and deserves recognition? Do you know a police officer who goes above and beyond their duties by serving as a volunteer? If so, we want to hear from you.
Please help the Kiwanis Club find the 2011 ‘Top Cop’ and recognize outstanding community service performed by an Edmonton Police Service officer. View poster.
Criteria used to select recipient
- Active Duty Edmonton Police Service Officer with volunteer dedication and commitment outside their role and duty of an officer
- Current volunteer involvement with several years of commitment – unusual complexity of service and contribution to the community having a substantial impact on many individuals.
- Consider volunteerism beyond sporting functions and youth sports teams (although coaching may be one aspect of volunteer service).

The deadline for nominations is January 6, 2012.
