Working in the Community

As we transition into 2016, the  focus will continue to be the reduction of incidents  of crime and disorder within our community.

With the continuation of working with the community, we emphasize effective problem-solving techniques in order to prevent repeat occurrences of crime and disorder. Traffic safety and reduction of violent crimes will also remain a high priority in West Division and throughout the city.

The feedback from citizens, businesses, and agencies on issues in their communities helps immensely to identify the real issues, prioritize work, and provide the best response to emerging concerns.

In 2016, West Division officers look forward to working with all partners in the community to continue to develop best practices and new and innovative ways of problem solving. The overall objective is to reduce crime and disorder and to ensure that our community is a safe and enjoyable one for all.
