1.Contact Public.Legal@edmontonpolice.ca at least one week before your service deadline.

2. A lawyer with Legal Services Branch needs to obtain instructions to accept service on that employee’s behalf. This can sometimes take time due to the nature of the employee’s shift work, vacation, etc.

3. In most cases, electronic service can be accommodated. If electronic service is not appropriate for some reason, a lawyer or paralegal with Legal Services Branch will be in touch to arrange for service in person at Police Headquarters at 9620 103A Avenue NW.
