Police seeking tips in Whyte Ave Robbery

On July 12, 2021 at 6:50pm, a male suspect entered the Top Food Store on 10768 82 Avenue and demanded cash from the clerk.

The suspect stated he had a knife, but did not produce it. The suspect left after receiving approximately $200 in cash.

The suspect is described as:

White male, heavy build, 5’ 6” 25-35 years old. Short, dark brown hair.
Was wearing a ball cap with green emblem, black mask, blue T Shirt, black shorts and sandals at that time.

Investigators are also seeking information on the emblem on his hat and what it stands for.

Cyclist struck by vehicle in NW Edmonton; Police seeking tips

On July 30, 2021 at 10:55pm, a cyclist was hit by a silver Kia Optima (2106-2019 model) at the location of 129 Ave and 97 Street. After checking on the cyclist, the driver of the Kia collected his vehicle debris and left the location. The cyclist was then transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The Kia will have notable damage to the rear passenger side, along with a front facing Edmonton Oilers vanity plate.

Indecent act at bus stop in SW Edmonton

The Edmonton Police Service is releasing a composite sketch of a male believed to be responsible for an indecent act in September 2017. On Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 a 14-year-old female was waiting at a bus stop in the area of Parsons Road and 91 Street, when she was approached by a male unknown to her. The male allegedly exposed himself to the female and then reportedly fled the area on foot.

Northeast aggravated assault suspect

The Edmonton Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect in a composite sketch that was allegedly involved in a B&E and aggravated assault.

On Saturday, May, 6, 2017, Northeast Division responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence in the area of 118 Avenue and 39 Street.

It was reported that the residence was broken into and a suspect confronted and stabbed a male residing in the home. The male was treated and transported to hospital by EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

At this time, police believe the resident and suspect are not known to one another.

Suspect wanted in SE road rage incident

The Edmonton Police Service is releasing a composite sketch to the public to help identify a suspect in connection with a violent road rage incident that occurred on December 17, 2016.

On Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, police responded to a call of an alleged road rage incident around 11:40 p.m. in the area of 75 Street and 78 Avenue. It was reported that an altercation occurred between the two drivers that left one man severely injured with stab wounds.

EMS responded to the scene, treated and transported the 37-year-old male to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Indecent exposure suspect 112 street and 99 ave

The Edmonton Police Service is releasing a composite sketch of a suspect who allegedly exposed himself to two women in June, 2016.

On Friday, June 17, 2016, police responded to a report of an indecent act that occurred around 7:30 a.m. It was reported that a male in a blue 4-door vehicle exposed himself in the area of 112 Street and 99 Avenue while he was asking a woman for directions. The woman left the area immediately and called police.

At 4 p.m., police received another complaint about an indecent exposure that occurred at 7:40 a.m. in the same area. As the incidents reported occurred just 10 minutes apart, police believe they are looking for one suspect.

Suspect in sexual assault at 111 Ave and 91 Street

The Edmonton Police Service is releasing a composite sketch to the public to help identify a suspect in an alleged sexual assault that occurred on March 30, 2016.

Police responded to a reported sexual assault around 11:20 p.m., on Wednesday, Mar. 30, 2016, in the area of 111 Avenue and 91 Street. It was reported that a female in her early 20s was approached by an intoxicated male, unknown to her, and then allegedly sexually assaulted.

The woman fled on foot from the male suspect, who was last seen heading east on 111 Avenue.

Sexual assault suspect of female at 55 Street and 94A Avenue

EPS Detectives have released a composite drawing of a suspect wanted in connection with an assault that occurred on April 2, 2008 at 1:40 p.m. After further investigation, detectives have also released information that the assault was of a sexual nature. Caucasian male, wearing a green ball cap, orange jacket with dark sleeves (possibly blue and made of felt or leather), dark pants, heavy footwear and non-reflective aviator style sunglasses with a solid brown tint. He has short darker salt and pepper coloured hair seen just below the ball cap, a solid build and between 5’6” and 5’11” in height. The suspect smelled of cigarette smoke

Police are looking for a man in connection with a home-invasion-style break in and sexual assault which occurred on Wednesday, April 2, 2008. At approximately 1:40 p.m. police responded to a report of a 27-year-old woman in the area of 55 Street and 94A Avenue who was allegedly sexually assaulted by a male stranger in her home. The woman’s hands were bound behind her back but she managed to call police after the suspect fled the scene. She was taken to hospital for treatment and later released. Detectives continue to investigate.

Sexual assault suspect in Summerside

The Edmonton Police Service is releasing a composite sketch and asking the public to identify a suspect in an alleged sexual assault that occurred over the weekend.

A 36-year-old female was walking alone in the area of Walker Lakes in the Summerside area, near 80 Street and 12 Avenue SW at 4 a.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2015. The female heard loud music coming from an open garage by a lane and saw two men. As the complainant continued walking she heard someone whistle so she began to run but was allegedly overrun and knocked to the ground by two males.

It is reported that one of the males allegedly sexually assaulted her while the other male assisted in holding her down and attempted to steal her property. The complainant was released by the suspects when she screamed for help. She ran to a nearby street where she flagged down a passing off-duty taxi.

Suspect #2 is described as a tall and thin male who was also was wearing a long sleeved hooded jacket.

In addition to seeking the public’s assistance identifying the two suspects, Sexual Assault detectives are looking for:

Witnesses who saw or heard the complainant, the suspects or the alleged sexual assault;
The taxi driver who assisted the complainant; and
The location of the garage that was playing loud music.

River Valley attempted sexual assault

The Edmonton Police Service is releasing a composite sketch to help identify a suspect in an alleged attempted sexual assault that occurred in Mill Creek Ravine on July 07, 2015.

On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, police responded to a call of an attempted sexual assault at approximately 5 p.m. in Mill Creek Ravine, near 76 Avenue and 95 Street. It is reported that a 26-year-old female was walking in the river valley when she was allegedly approached from behind by a male, grabbed and forced into the treeline.

It is reported the male suspect was holding a knife and attempted to sexually assault the woman. She screamed for help and an individual in the area approached to offer assistance. Police believe the suspect then fled northbound into the ravine.
