While police officers are visibly present and doing their best to prevent and deter crime, it is in partnership with our citizens that crime is most effectively prevented.&nbsp; <br /> <br /> As a volunteer with the Edmonton Police Service, you have the opportunity to work along side police officers by providing information to community residents and those most vulnerable. Community Patrol Member https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/JoinEPS/Volunteering/Crime Prevention/CommunityPatrolMember None Positions available : Community Patrol members are civilian volunteers, 18 years of age and over, who assist the EPS members in community based policing by providing extra eyes and ears on Edmonton's Streets. Patrol Members use assigned radios and operate through a patrol base station operator.
