Calls for service - March 17, 2025 https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/CallsForService/CallForServiceMar17 <p><span>On March 17, 2025, police responded to a robbery at a liquor store in the area of 127 Avenue and 121 Street. It was reported to police that a male entered the store, produced bear spray, stole bottles of alcohol and threatened staff. He then returned to the store a while later and was arrested by police nearby. Officers located the bear spray and alcohol on his person. Charges are pending.</span></p> <p><span>&nbsp;</span></p> 07 Apr 2025 16:40:00 UT Calls for service - March 12, 2025 https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/CallsForService/CallForServiceMar12 <p><span>On March 12, 2025, at 2:45 p.m. police were called to a shopping center in the area of 94 Street and 137 Avenue where a male was asked to leave by mall security. The male produced what appeared to be a grey handgun and pointed it at the security guard.&nbsp; Police arrested the male and discovered an imitation firearm on his person. Police continue to investigate. </span></p> 01 Apr 2025 14:33:59 UT Calls for service - March 11, 2025 https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/CallsForService/CallForServiceMar11 <p><span>On March 11, 2025, at 9 p.m. police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 107 Street and 72 Avenue. Upon arrival, police located several bullet casings. No injuries were reported. Officers continue to investigate.</span></p> 28 Mar 2025 17:36:23 UT Calls for service - March 5, 2025 https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/CallsForService/CallForServiceMar5 <p><span>On March 5, 2025, around 3 p.m., officers located a stolen vehicle near 151 Avenue and Victoria Trail. Almost immediately the vehicle began to speed away. After a short distance, and with Air1 observing from above, the suspects attempted to flee on foot but were taken into custody. Charges are pending.</span></p> 24 Mar 2025 19:33:14 UT Calls for service - March 1, 2025 https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/CallsForService/CallForServiceMar1 <p><span>On, March 1, 2025, at approximately 7:27 p.m., police responded to a weapons complaint at a parkade in the area of 102 Avenue and 103 Street. Upon arrival, police located a male who was carrying a knife. The male ignored police direction and proceeded to a nearby mall, where he was taken into custody without incident. Police continue to investigate. </span></p> 21 Mar 2025 14:17:28 UT Calls for service - February 25, 2025 https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/CallsForService/CallForServiceFeb25 <p><span>At 1:09 a.m., on Feb. 25, 2025, police were called to the area of 102 Avenue and 101 Street after Transit Security evicted a male from the LRT for assaulting a female. The suspect then assaulted another female at random while walking down Jasper Avenue. Police located and took the suspect into custody. Charges are pending.</span></p> 19 Mar 2025 17:30:22 UT Calls for service - February 23, 2025 https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/CallsForService/CallForServiceFeb23 <p>On Feb. 23, 2025, at 1:15 a.m., police responded to the Millwoods Transit Centre to assist Peace Officers with an arrest. An adult male had reportedly taken a plastic bag he was using to cover his feet and forced it into the face of a female senior who was waiting at the transit centre. Peace Officers intervened before the random attack continued. The female was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons. Multiple charges are pending.</p> 14 Mar 2025 15:20:25 UT Calls for service - February 17, 2025 https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/CallsForService/CallForServiceFeb17 <p>On Feb. 17, 2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting in progress at a shopping centre in the area of 102 Street and 102 Avenue. When police arrived, a 20-year-old female, who was known to police for a disturbance earlier in the day, produced a canister of bear spray and sprayed two officers and a security guard. After a brief foot chase, officers arrested the female. She was in possession of drugs and stolen property. No injuries were reported, and the female was charged with multiple offences.</p> 12 Mar 2025 18:13:07 UT Calls for service - February 16, 2025 https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/CallsForService/CallForServiceFeb16 <p> On Feb. 16, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., police responded to the Clareview LRT station for a reported assault with a weapon. Two individuals were found badly contaminated by bear spray. It was reported that this was a random assault. Police are investigating.</p> 10 Mar 2025 18:32:38 UT Calls for service - November 25, 2024 https://www.edmontonpolice.ca/News/CallsForService/CallForServiceNov25 <p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: normal;">On Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, police responded to a call about a robbery at a convenience store in the area of 109 Street and 107 Avenue. It was reported that a male suspect entered the store with a mask on and a knife in his hand when he stole items from the store and demanded that an employee give him money from a cash register. When the employee refused to provide cash, the suspect was reported to have taken two food delivery bags before exiting the store. He was located by AIR1 and was arrested without incident. After searching the subject, police discovered a knife, the stolen property form the convenience store and a mask.
