Police locate Joshua Bambush in relation to shooting

The Edmonton Police Service has located and arrested 31-year-old Joshua Bambush who was wanted in relation to his involvement in a shooting earlier this year.

On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, just after midnight, police were called to a residence in the area of 112 Avenue and 86 Street on the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a 32-year-old man who had been shot. The male victim was treated and transported to hospital by paramedics with life-threatening injuries.

Police identified Bambush as a suspect during the investigation and issued a news release on Friday, May 29, 2020 seeking his whereabouts. Bambush was arrested on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, and as of Wednesday, June 24, is facing several charges including robbery with a firearm and several other firearm offenses in relation to this shooting investigation.
