Police investigating fatal collision

Major Collision officers are investigating a fatal collision that took place early this morning.

Just before 2 a.m. today, Saturday, July 30, 2022, police responded to the report of a serious collision in the area of Calgary Trail and 41 Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a Honda Accord that had reportedly struck a light pole. The male driver was declared deceased on scene by paramedics. 

EPS Major Collision Investigations Section (MCIS) is investigating. Speed is believed to be a factor in this collision.
