For Immediate Release: 15-Sep-2023 @ 3:30 PM
MRU #: R23R008

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect following two separate armed robberies at convenience stores this week.

On Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a male suspect reportedly entered a convenience store in the area of 118 Avenue and 34 Street, brandished a knife at an employee and took cash from the register.

On Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, at approximately 9:50 p.m. the same male suspect reportedly entered a convenience store in the area of 118 Avenue and 103 Street, again brandished a knife at an employee and took cash from the register.

In both incidents, the suspect was aggressive with employees and investigators are concerned this behavior could escalate to a more violent event. As such, police are reaching out to the public to assist with the identification of the suspect. Photos and videos of the suspect are included below.

EPS Robbery Section continues to investigate.

Anyone who can identify this suspect is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.
