For Immediate Release: 11-Jan-2022 @ 3:41 PM
MRU #: R22R002

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance to identify upwards of four suspects who robbed a northeast Edmonton vape shop in November 2021.

At approximately 2 p.m., Nov. 11, 2021, three suspects attended a vape shop at 37 Street and 118 Avenue.

The suspects produced bear spray and sprayed the lone female employee, who was trapped at the locked door while trying to flee the store. The suspects stole approximately $700 in vape pens, before fleeing the store westbound.

The three suspects, two males and one female, are described as black, under 20 years of age with thin builds. The suspects were all wearing masks and/or scarfs at the time of the robbery. The female was wearing distinctive red/black plaid pants with one of the males wearing red sweatpants and a red/blue jacket.

A second female, who was also in the store at the time of the robbery, stole items from the vape shop. It is not clear whether she was with the robbery suspects or merely took advantage of the opportunity to steal from the business during the incident.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of these four suspects is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.
