Social Media

The Edmonton Police Service provides up to date information from news releases, success stories, and crime files that is accessible by Really Simple Syndication (RSS) on our website. There are also a number of social media websites where this information is published.

In addition to corporate social media accounts, the EPS has launched a social media program that includes front line officer Twitter and Instagram accounts. Designed to offer a glimpse into the day of a police officer, these accounts allow citizens to directly interact with EPS members.

Please note that our social media accounts are NOT monitored 24-7 and we cannot accept crime reports or tips via social media.  If you require assistance, please call 911 (in an emergency situation) or our complaint line at 780-423-4567 (or #377 from a mobile in Edmonton).

If you wish to file a concern about a member of the EPS or the Service, please contact the Professional Standards Branch.
