Everyday the Edmonton Police Service investigates criminal acts or activity in the Edmonton area. The majority of these crimes occur against people or their property.

• Homicide is when one individual has been killed by the direct act of one or more other individuals.
• You can be affected by Auto Theft if your vehicle, or the contents of your vehicle, have been stolen.
• Recovered stolen vehicles can be found at the Police Seized Vehicle lot.
• An act of robbery is when something is forcibly taken from an individual or business.
• Sexual assault deals with crimes where an individual has experienced physical contact of a sexual nature without voluntary consent.
• Evidence of criminal activity, including found stolen property is handled by the property and exhibits unit.
