Eveline Ngwa is a Registered Social Worker with Clinical Specialization with a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, trauma, and stress-related difficulties. Through her work with Veterans, the RCMP, refugees and indigenous populations, she discovered her passion for working with trauma and took more specialized training such as EMDR, ART, CPT, Tree of Life Narrative therapy and AEDP.
She works frequently with young adults and adults experiencing post-traumatic and critical incident stress, panic, and emotional dysregulation in response to overwhelming life experiences. She is a cross-cultural counsellor who has also worked extensively with people struggling with shame and other insecurities around racial issues, recent immigrants, inner city populations, Black, Indigenous and people of colour. In addition to supporting veterans process operational stress and moral injuries, she supports people around work-related trauma as provider with WCB. She also supports families of first responders.
