Jessica Bennett

Jessica Bennett is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists specializing in trauma processing for first responder, public safety personnel, and frontline populations. Growing up as the daughter of an RCMP member and ER nurse, she witnessed firsthand the effects of operational and organizational stress on an individual, couple, and family. 

Over the last 15 years, she has supported individuals and couples struggling to cope with the stressors of everyday life, navigate life transitions, manage relationship issues, move through grief and loss, cope with occupational stress, and process unresolved trauma.

 

Jessica is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.), Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and The Gottman Method for Couples Counselling. Jessica also has specialized training in Reintegration, Perinatal Mood Disorders, Birth Trauma, Pregnancy and Infant Loss, Substance-Use Disorders, and is a provider with WCB.
