Tracey Nyhus

I am a Registered Psychologist who provides trauma counselling using ART, EMDR and CBT for special populations, including police officers and veterans as well as the general public. I have experience working with PTSD, depression, anxiety, family violence, grief and loss, bariatric concerns, and emotional regulation.

I have worked in non-profit agencies, community mental health, schools, and private practice and provided clinical leadership with a multidisciplinary team. In these varying work environments, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients with different cultural and religious backgrounds, abilities, and ethnicities as well as different age groups.

I have a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Athabasca University and post graduate training in ART, EMDR, R-TEP, CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and EMDR sandtray.
