On July 31, 2007 at 1:30 am, EPS Homicide detectives were called to an assault in the area of 105 Street and Jasper Avenue.
The caller reported a man in his twenties was passed out in front of a downtown hotel. The male, Edward BONE, was found to be stabbed and was transported to hospital. He later died in hospital.
