On January 10, 1992, at approximately 2:35 a.m. a passer-by noticed the body of Michael PIZZINO was found just north of 102 A Avenue, east of 109 Street.
Michael was badly injured and bleeding from his right leg. An ambulance was flagged down and transported Michael to hospital but died on arrival. An autopsy showed that Michael had been stabbed in his right leg which severed his femoral artery.
Michael was involved in the drug lifestyle, both as a user and trafficker. It is believed that his lifestyle involving drugs is related to his murder.
