On April 28, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. police responded to a business in the area of 40 Street and 137 Avenue where it was reported that a female loss prevention officer was stabbed by a male suspect. The woman was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The adult male suspect was immediately taken into custody and is facing charges. Police continue to investigate.
