On Monday, May 26, 2025, at approximately 4:41 p.m., police responded to an injury collision in the area of 163 Street and 95 Avenue. It was reported to police that a 40-year-old male pedestrian was crossing 163 Street at 95 Avenue in a marked crosswalk on a green light, when they were struck by a vehicle that was turning from 95 Avenue eastbound onto 163 Street northbound, also on a green light.

EMS responded, treated and transported the 40-year-old pedestrian to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 29-year-old male driver of the vehicle remained on scene and did not report any injuries. He has since been issued a violation for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
