“We’re encouraging residents—especially those in west Edmonton with alley-access garages—to take steps that can help reduce the risk of property crime,” said Constable Carrie Bosse of the Edmonton Police Service West Division. “Some effective methods include installing alarms on garage doors, using secure locks on side doors, and adding motion-activated lighting or security cameras. These measures can help create safer spaces for everyone.”
Police are also encouraging residents to keep a record of serial numbers for valuable items, which can assist with recovering property if a theft does occur.
Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.
