Following an investigation into a female complainant’s report of a sexual assault at a massage clinic in central Edmonton in December 2024, Christian Zeus Cabillan, was charged with one count of sexual assault.
On Dec. 12, 2024, police issued a news release seeking additional complainants. Since then, additional complainants have come forward, and on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, Cabillan was charged with two further counts of sexual assault.

The Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association (CMMOTA), a governing body for the industry, has cancelled Cabillan’s Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) license.
Police continue to believe there may be other complainants and are encouraging anyone who feels they may have been targeted by Cabillan to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
