Police respond to suspicious death in northwest

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is investigating a suspicious death that took place in the city's northwest. 

On Sunday, September 21, 2025, at approximately 6:30 a.m., EPS Northwest patrol officers responded to a 911 call in the area of Conestoga Street and Bonaventure Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a deceased 34-year-old female.

EPS Homicide Section is now investigating. An autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025. Police continue to investigate and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.

Additionally, police are asking anyone with security or dash camera footage of the area around Conestoga Street and Bonaventure Avenue from the night and morning of Sunday, September 21, 2025, to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
