Police seek public's assistance identifying suspect in convenience store robberies

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a male suspect following the robbery of two convenience stores in west Edmonton.

On July 23, 2025, at approximately 3:45 a.m., a male armed with a kitchen knife robbed a convenience store in the area of 107 Avenue and 156 Street before fleeing on foot.

Five days later, on July 28, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., the same male, again armed with a kitchen knife, robbed another convenience store in the area of 95 Avenue and 156 Street before fleeing on foot.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported in either incident.

The male suspect was described as approximately 40 – 50-years-old, wearing dark framed glasses, and a distinct grey hoodie with a yellow/beige skull logo on the back. He was also wearing grey pants and dark shoes. The suspect was observed wearing dark gloves and carrying a knife.
