Police seek public's assistance identifying suspect in cannabis store robberies

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a male suspect following multiple robberies of a cannabis store on 118 Avenue.

On Mar. 14, 2025, at 9:25 p.m., a male entered a cannabis store in the area of 97 Street and 118 Avenue and demanded cash from the till, telling the clerk he had a gun while reaching into a shopping bag he was carrying.

Days later, on Mar. 18, 2025, the same suspect entered the same store at 12:19 p.m. and again demanded cash from the till. On the second occurrence, the suspect did not mention a firearm. The suspect reportedly fled on a bicycle.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’5” tall. In the first occurrence, he was wearing a black zip up hoodie, black pants, black and white Nike shoes, sunglasses and a white mask. In the second occurrence, he was wearing a pink balaclava on his head.
