Hate crime investigators seek public assistance identifying mischief suspect

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) Hate Crimes Unit is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a suspect who was captured on camera committing mischief to a central Edmonton 2SLGBTQ+ nightclub.

On Dec. 22, 2024 at approximately 5:10 a.m., an unknown male suspect was captured on surveillance camera defacing an exterior window of Evolution Wonderlounge. The damage to the window was directly over a “Protect Trans Kids” poster, which was posted on the inside of the glass. The suspect also carved what appears to be a cross into the window glass.

Police are releasing the photo of the suspect below in the hopes that someone will be able to identify him.

Suspect in mischief incident at Evolution Wonderlounge
