Police continue to seek assistance locating missing senior

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) continues to seek the public’s assistance in locating a missing 66-year-old man.

Missing person: Brian Potts, 66 years old

On April 22, police issued a media release seeking information about the whereabouts of Brian Potts, 66.

Investigators have since learned he was seen at approximately 12:40 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, walking alone on Range Rd 21 south of Onoway, Alberta.

Brian is described as 5’8” tall, and 177 lbs, with a medium build, brown eyes and dark hair.

He was last seen wearing tan pants, a camouflage ball cap and a navy-blue Oilers hoodie, as shown in the photos below.

Missing: Brian Potts, 66

Brian has medical concerns that may cause him to become disoriented and wander. As such, family and police are concerned for his welfare.

On the day Brian went missing, he reportedly approached several strangers asking for a lift. It is possible that he would have been approaching people in the Onoway area.
