Police investigating fatal motorcycle collision

EPS Major Collision Investigations Section (MCIS) is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred in northwest Edmonton last night.

On Friday, Apr. 25, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to the report of a collision involving a 2012 Yamaha Cruiser motorcycle and a building in the area of 128 Avenue and 120 Street.

The motorcycle, which had been travelling at a high rate of speed eastbound on 128 Avenue towards 120 Street, collided with the side of a community league building. EMS responded and pronounced the 45-year-old male rider deceased on scene.

Major Collision Investigation Section is investigating. Speed is believed to be a factor in the collision.
