MRU #: TR25045

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking witnesses and dash camera footage following a serious injury collision in southeast Edmonton this afternoon.

At approximately 3:43 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, Southeast Branch patrol officers responded to a two-vehicle roll over collision in the area of 23 Avenue and Millwoods Rd. It was reported to police that a 2011 Lincoln MKX was travelling southbound on Millwoods Rd through the intersection at 23 Avenue on a green light, when it was struck by a 2004 Dodge Caravan travelling westbound on 23 Avenue through a red light. The collision reportedly caused the Caravan to roll multiple times before coming to rest in the intersection.

EMS responded, treated and transported the 37-year-old male driver of the Caravan and the 61-year-old male driver of the MKX to hospital with serious injuries.

EPS Major Collision Investigations Section (MCIS) continues to investigate. Speed is considered a factor in this collision.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed or has dash camera footage of this collision to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.
