The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has introduced a new way for the public to access important police information quickly and conveniently through a Scan and Go QR code and dedicated webpage.
Designed as a “one-stop spot,” the page brings together some of the most commonly requested police information in one easy-to-navigate location. By scanning the QR code, users can access resources anytime, providing a convenient option for busy residents and those who prefer digital self-service.
The webpage allows users to quickly find frequently requested brochures, guides and key resources without having to search across multiple pages.
“I’m excited to offer customers a product that better reflects modern technology and looks more professional than the paper slips we used before, which were easily damaged and costly to replace,” says Sergeant Daniel Leach of the Downtown Front Counter Team.
Overall, the new QR code and webpage represent the modernization of service delivery, making it easier for the public to access information when they need it.
Posters and decals, featuring the QR code will be displayed in all EPS divisions.
