Police seek person of interest in 2023 homicide

Investigators are releasing images of a person who may have information about a 2023 homicide.

On Aug. 19, 2023, at approximately 3:15 a.m., police responded to a weapons complaint in the area of 101 Street and Whyte Avenue.  Upon arrival, officers located a male and a female with serious injuries. 

EMS responded, treated and transported the 33-year-old female to hospital in stable condition. The adult male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.

On Aug. 21, 2023, an autopsy completed by the Edmonton Medical Examiner determined that Alister Chisholm, 32, died of a gunshot wound, and the manner of his death was homicide.

Investigators have since recovered a Green VW Beetle that was connected to the homicide. They are now looking to identify a female who was seen arriving in the green Beetle at a Husky gas station at 92 Street and Jasper Avenue on Aug. 19, 2023 just before 10:26 a.m.
