On Dec. 29, 2024, police received a report of a female who was found deceased in a waste disposal bin in the area of Bellamy Hill Road. Surveillance footage from approximately 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 28, 2024 shows the female walking alone northbound up the alley from 99 Avenue between 103 Street and Bellamy Hill, then getting into the bin. Her death is not deemed to be suspicious.
She is described as a 25 to 35-year-old Indigenous female with shoulder-length brown and red hair and brown eyes, approximately 5’6” tall with a slim build. Police were unable to confirm her identity using traditional methods.
On Mar. 27, 2025, the EPS’ Missing Persons Unit released sketches of the woman and her tattoo, as well as stock images of her jacket and boots. Police continue to investigate and are now releasing an AI-generated image that is an approximate likeness of the deceased female, hoping to generate tips about her identity.

The deceased had a flower tattoo on her right shoulder blade that measured 12.5 cm long and 9.5 cm wide similar to the sketch below.

At the time she was located, she was wearing a brown puffer jacket and brown boots similar to those pictured below.
