Police seek public's assistance identifying locker room theft suspect

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a series of locker room thefts.

The suspect reportedly breaks into lockers at fitness centres across the city, steals credit and banking cards and purchases thousands of dollars in lottery tickets and merchandise. The same suspect has been linked to at least six occurrences citywide since May 2025.

He is described as a white male with a short, scruffy beard. He has been seen wearing a medical mask, a black baseball cap or dark-coloured toque, a black jacket with a large silver zipper, dark jeans and black shoes with white soles. The suspect often has an earbud in his left ear.
