Police looking for suspect after vehicle arson

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect believed to be involved in a vehicle arson that occurred in June.

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m., police received reports of fire damage to a vehicle near 104 Street and 112 Avenue. The vehicle was on a parking pad at the rear of a residence. Investigators have since determined the fire was deliberately set and are attempting to identify a female suspect captured on surveillance footage.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a black ballcap, black pants, a black t-shirt, and black-and-white runners. She was also seen carrying a pink crossbody bag, a dark-coloured backpack, and a blue plastic bag.
