On Thurs., May 21, 2026, around 12:00 p.m., West Branch patrol officers responded to the report of a robbery at a convenience store in the area of 157 Street and Stony Plain Road. A male and female entered the convenience store and began shoplifting, and when the store clerk confronted the suspects, there was a struggle between him and the male suspect which resulted in the clerk being stabbed. The clerk, a 44-year-old male, was transported to hospital by paramedics with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects are described as follows:
Suspect #1: Male, wearing a black t-shirt with white graphics on the front, black track pants, black boots, and was carrying a black backpack.
Suspect #2: Female, wearing maroon-colored pants and jacket, black boots, and was carrying a black bag
