Police looking to identify vehicle involved in pedestrian hit and run

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is investigating a hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian from late last month.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, a 32-year-old male was walking across McConachie Boulevard and 62 Street when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle briefly stopped to speak to the injured male before leaving the scene.

The pedestrian was later taken to hospital with serious injuries and has since been released.

The EPS Major Collisions Investigations Section (MCIS) has taken over the investigation and are asking for any witnesses to come forward.

Police believe the collision occurred sometime between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on the night of Thursday, Oct. 30. The vehicle is described as possibly a grey minivan or SUV.
