Police seek assistance locating missing senior

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public's assistance to locate a missing 82-year-old woman.

Erlinda Viana, 82, was last seen on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, around 9 a.m. in the area of 101 Avenue and 151 Street.

Erlinda is approximately 5’2” tall, petite and has short black hair. She was last seen wearing a blue checkered tank top, navy-blue leggings with a light blue stripe down the sides and beige-coloured sandals.

Erlinda is known to frequent West Edmonton Mall and the surrounding area, and she regularly uses Edmonton Transit. She may be lost and confused and unable to find her way home.

Erlinda’s disappearance is considered out of character, and family and police have concerns for her well-being. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
