Police seek suspect vehicle following a hit and run

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public's assistance with identifying a driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision from late May.

At approximately 3:56 a.m. on May 25, 2026, police responded to a report of a hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian near 99 Avenue and 103 Street. The 31-year-old male pedestrian was treated and transported to hospital by EMS with serious, life-threatening injuries.

The suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing northbound on 103 Street.

EPS Major Collision Investigations Section (MCIS) is investigating the collision, and officers are asking the public to contact them if they recognize or have footage of the suspect vehicle, a light-coloured Ford Explorer with front-end damage.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, has information about the vehicle or driver, or has dashcam footage is asked to contact EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
