Police seek public's assistance identifying robbery suspects

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public's assistance to identify two suspects who robbed several liquor stores in January and February of this year.

The first robbery took place on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, at approximately 9:11 p.m. near Mayfield Road. Two male suspects entered a liquor store and attempted to leave without paying for several items. When approached by an employee, one of the males displayed what appeared to be a firearm and threatened the employee before fleeing.

The second robbery happened on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at approximately 8:23 p.m. again near Mayfield Road. A third robbery took place on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, around 9:41 p.m. in the area of 23 Avenue and 24 Street.

Both male suspects were captured on surveillance cameras, and investigators are hoping someone will recognize them.

Both suspects are described as between 20 to 30 years old and between 5'9" to 6' tall. One has a stocky build, the other has a thin build.
