MRU #: 26R009

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a man who robbed a convenience store last fall.

On Sept. 21, 2025, at approximately 3:50 a.m., police were called about a robbery at a convenience store in the area of 69 Avenue and 172 Street. It was reported that a male suspect entered the store, struck the clerk and demanded money from the till before fleeing on foot. Thankfully, the clerk did not sustain any injuries and nobody else was harmed.

The unknown male suspect was captured on surveillance cameras, and investigators are hoping someone will recognize him. He is described as approximately 35 to 45 years old, 6’ tall with a slim build and no facial hair. The male was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black sunglasses, blue jeans, black gloves and black and white sneakers, as pictured below.

“As we continue to explore all investigative avenues in order to identify and arrest this suspect, we are hopeful that issuing images of the male will help members of the public recognize him,” says Det. Mike McAuley with the EPS’ Robbery Section. “If this male looks familiar to you, please contact us immediately.”

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or the robbery is asked to call the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.
