Police seek witnesses and dashcam footage of collision in southwest

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is asking anyone who may have witnessed a collision in the city's southwest to come forward.

Around 8:30 a.m. on Mon., April 27, 2026, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Terwillegar Drive and 23 Avenue. Police believe a northbound Mazda CX-5 and an eastbound Mercedes Benz collided in the southwest corner of the intersection.

A 38-year-old female was treated by EMS and transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported at the time.

The EPS Major Collision Investigations Section (MCIS) has since taken over the investigation.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have dash camera footage is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
