The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is investigating a suspicious death that took place this morning.

On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at approximately 4 a.m., police responded to a report of a man in medical distress outside of a residence in the area of 124 Street and 109 Avenue. Upon arrival, police discovered a 22-year-old man who was declared deceased on scene. 

The EPS Homicide Section assumed the investigation. An autopsy has yet to be scheduled.

Investigators are asking anyone with dashcam or doorbell camera footage in the area that was active between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10 to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
