The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is investigating a death that took place earlier this morning in Edmonton’s Chappelle neighborhood.

On Monday, June 23, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the EPS responded to reports of an injured female inside a residence in the area of Charles Bay and Charles Way. Upon arrival, police located a female in medical distress. EMS administered life-saving measures to the injured female; however, she was pronounced deceased on scene.

The investigation has since been turned over to the EPS Homicide Section. An autopsy has yet to be scheduled at this time.
