At approximately 5 a.m. on June 4, 2025, a male reportedly broke into and set fire to an attached garage at a residence in the area of 65 Street and 14 Avenue. The fire spread to the house, which was occupied by a family of seven, including two young children. Thankfully, the occupants were able to escape, and no injuries were reported. The residence was completely destroyed, and a neighbouring home was also damaged by the fire.
