The Edmonton Medical Examiner performed an autopsy today, Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026 and determined the deceased female found in a residential fire yesterday morning died as a result of homicide. The female was confirmed to be an adult, but has not yet been identified. The cause of death is being withheld at this time for investigative reasons.
EPS Homicide Section detectives continue to investigate.
