Police responded to a check on welfare call at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2026. When police arrived at a residence in the area of 88 Street and 128 Avenue, they found a deceased male.
On Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, the Edmonton Medical Examiner completed an autopsy on the 51-year-old. At this time, the cause of death is pending toxicology, and the manner of death is pending further investigation.
