At approximately 7 a.m. on May 28, 2025, police responded to the report of a sexual assault in the Aster neighbourhood. It was reported that an adult female complainant had awoken to find an unknown male in her bed. She immediately fled the residence, and when she returned, the male was gone.
A surveillance video canvass of the area was unsuccessful, and as such, police are releasing a composite sketch of the suspect in the hope that it may lead to tips about his identity.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic or South Asian male, possibly in his early 20s, clean shaven, who is 5’6” to 5’7” tall with a slight build.
At this time, investigators believe this to be an isolated incident, and there is no known ongoing risk to the public.
